Paige Carbone - Internship Consultant/On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator

In her role as Internship Coordinator, Paige serves as the liaison to the College of Business. She counsels students interested in pursuing careers in business. With the help of the marketing and graphic design interns, Paige markets the Career Center services and events. As part of the Employer Relations Team, Paige coordinates the On-Campus Recruiting program.  
 
Personal/Professional background
After graduating with her bachelor's degree in Speech Communications, Paige began working in higher education admissions and enrollment services, working with undergraduate and graduate students, and prospective students and families. She received her master's in School Counseling and is a certified career coach. Paige serves on the Executive Board of the Western Suffolk Counselors Association (WSCA) and is a member of Metropolitan New York College Career Planners Association (MNYCCPOA). Paige enjoys working with college students, assisting them in finding work they love and inspiring them to set and achieve their personal and professional goals. She enjoys writing and one of her goals is to publish a book.  Paige is super excited to join the amazing staff of the Career Center at Stony Brook!

Worst Job
Luckily, I never really had a terrible job. I like to enjoy my work! My coolest job experience was working as an Intern at Cox Communications/WBAB Radio. I was a morning show intern and had a (very) brief spot on the radio on Wednesday mornings at 8:15 am. Even though I had to be at the studio at 4:30am, it was still cool!

Achievements
During her senior year of college, Paige was elected and served as President of the Student Government Association. As a student leader she had the opportunity to travel and meet and connect with other student leaders from all over the world.
