Teacher Certification Program Options at SBU

Professional Education Program

Teacher Education at Stony Brook University (SBU) - embraces a University-wide approach for its six Teacher Education Programs and Education Leadership Programs. The teacher programs, which include, English, Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and TESOL are located in their respective disciplinary departments in the College of Arts and Sciences and in the School of Professional Development.
