Green Sector

With the current state of the economy and corporations expecting to “go green” in the upcoming years, the environmental sector is expected to grow massively.  A green economy can protect the planet in the long term and be cost-effective for companies. As corporations are finding ways to “go green," additional opportunities will become available, making the industry a hot one.

Like any other industry, these sustainability projects will need analysts, managers, administrative support team, etc. Based on reports from the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), the standard jobs in the green industry are perfect for accountants, engineers, computer analysts, clerks, factory workers, truck drivers, mechanics, and more.

In addition:

-Growth is always expected due to new environmental laws/regulations
-New hiring will always be needed to repair infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, transportation systems, wildlife habitat
-Rapid growth of green or alternative economy; organic products, alternative energy, green investments
